Installation Guide

Prerequisites

• An active Google account
• Access to Google Docs

Installation Steps

1. Open Google Docs: Navigate to Google Docs and ensure you are signed in with your Google account.

2. Start a New Document: Click on the blank page icon to create a new document.

3. Access Add-ons: In the top menu, click on Extensions. From the drop-down menu, choose Add-ons → Get add-ons.

4. Search for Doc Variables: In the G Suite Marketplace search bar, type Doc Variables and press enter.

5. Select Doc Variables: From the search results, find the Doc Variables add-on and click on it.

6. Install the Add-on: Click the + Install button. A permissions dialog will pop up requesting certain permissions to run the add-on. Review and grant the necessary permissions to proceed.

7. Verify Installation: Once installed, the Doc Variables add-on should now be accessible from the Extensions menu in your Google Docs.

8. Usage: To start using the Doc Variables add-on, go to Extenstions → Doc Variables → Start.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during the installation:

• Ensure you have the necessary permissions to install add-ons.
• Clear browser cache and cookies, then retry the installation.
